Achivements
- Principally engaged in teaching, have done research in Ergonomics, Waste Management, Tribal Studies, Environmental Pollution, Housing conditions, Resource Management etc. Paper setter for Dibrugarh University for Hotel House Keeping Operation. Had been resource person in workshops/training programmes on entrepreneurship development in different organisations. Was a CTET,CBSE observer. Have few research articles, authored 3 book chapters, presented number of Radio talks for the benefit of the
- the community. Was a PI of a DBT GoI funded Project on “Management of green waste for economic benefit and women empowerment” of a budget of 40.33 Lakhs. 176 rural youth and women were given 18 hands on training on entrepreneurship development. Six groups have started earning money upto Rs 6000. Today a group of twenty five women are working under Rangali and Pancharatna Gramya Sangathans of R.P. Enterprise. In NAHEP, AAU, sponsored programme, had escorted 18 students to AIT Bangkok, Thailand. Recieved Indian Entreprenureship Award,2021, offered by Global Society for Health and Educational Growth,Delhi.
