Achivements
  • Served as Director of Clinics for more than 6 years and was actively associated in the transformation of TVCC to a modern veterinary clinics. Almost all infrastructural development facilities were tried to create and was utilized not only by the people of the North-Eastern region but also neighbouring countries like Bhutan. The student community was totally benefitted and participated in learning laboratory diagnostic as well as handling clinical cases using all modern techniques. The PG students utilized the facilities available in TVCC for their research work. Established the Ultrasonography Unit in TVCC and developed a team to deal with reproductive problems. Conducted research on preservation of liquid boar semen and basic reproductive parameters swamp buffaloes of Assam. Guided 9 Master degree students as Major Adviser and more than 30 Master and Ph.D. students as member of the Advisory Committee in various field animal researches. Actively associated with dealing with the reproductive problems of large animals mostly in field conditions.

  • Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India sponsored project on "Isolation, Characterization and Development of Culture Method for Long Term Preservation of Spermatogonial Stem Cells from Doom Pig", project cost Rs.72.472 Lakh implemented in 2017.
