Achivements
  • Complete set of paddy germplasm (3561 nos.) of ahu, sali, ashra and boro seasons of RARS, Karimganj has been organized and information recorded as a soft copy and submitted to Directorate of Research (Agri.), AAU, Jorhat.
  • Complete block of ahu, boro and major part of sali germplasm have been evaluated for yield and yield attributing characters and report presented to Annual Technical Committee Meeting in AAU, Jorhat.
  • Finger Millet variety 'AAU-GSG-Marua Dhan 1' notified by Central Variety Release Committee.
  • Foxtail millet variety 'AAU-GSG-Cawn 1' released by State Variety Release committee, Assam.
