  • Received UAS GOLD MEDAL for securing the highest CGPA (Crop Physiology) in Ph. D programme from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka, India in 2000.
    Received the GOLD MEDAL and Certificate for adjudged as BEST PAPER for Prof. S. Venkatraman Best Paper Award for the Research Paper entitled 'Response of modified microclimate on growth, yield and incidence of rhizome rot disease of gingerin Assam, India' authored by Prasanta Neog, R. K. Goswami, D. Saikia, N. Gogoi and M. K. Kalita, published in International Journal of Biometeorology, 66:719-730, 2022, presented in the International Conference on climate change and Agrecosystems: Threats, Opportunities and Solutions(AGMET-2024), held at BHU, Varanasi during 8-10 February, 2024, organized by Association of Agro-Meteorologists.
    Received the BEST PAPER AWARD for the Research Paper on 'Management of Rhizome Rot Disease in Ginger in Assam' by Dr. P. Neog, D. Saikia, Dr. R. K. Goswami and Ms. R. R. Changmai in the International Symposium on 'Advances in Agrometeorology for Managing Climatic Risk of Farmers' held at JNU, New Delhi on 11-13 February, 2019.
    Associated as PI and Co-PI with 5 Externally Funded and 2 Internal (Faculty Research Projects) Ad-Hoc Research Projects Funded by DBT- NER, DST, AYUSH, NEC and AAU.
