Achivements
  • After providing training on cutting and tailoring a group of women SHG for cuttings nd tailoring was formed in 1 No.Noapara and to facilitate their work , initiative has been taken in coordination with NABARD for financial assistance to provide a sewing machine to them and finally a sewing machine was provided to them sponsored by NABARD, Bongaigaon in the year 2018 and this group has been earning income through this activity.
  • For selling of products prepared by women SHGs of 1 No. Noapara and Jhawbari gaon , a stall of Rs. nearly 10000/- for the Exhibition in the Rash Mela held at Kathalguri gaon of Manikpur area was sanctioned in coordinating with NABARD which was sponsored by NABARD,Bongaigaon in the year 2018. As a result of which the women SHGs earned nearly Rs.20000/- in the Exhibition.
  • With the initiative and coordinating with NABARD, a Rural Mart named as "Uddipana Rural Mart' at Boitamari is promoted and established for selling of products of Women SHGs and other farmers which is supported by NABARD. In this initiative, 210 nos. of SHGs joined together for marketing of products through the Mart under Birangana Mahila Producer Company ltd..
  • After imparting training on Processing and preservation of locally available fruits and vegetables in Kamarpara village under Dangtol block and Domparar village under Manikpur block ,two numbers of Women SHGs were newly formed namely "Kanaklata SHG" in Kamarpara Village and "Mayuri SHG" in Dompara village for the purpose of Processing and preservation of fruits and vegetables in the year 2019-20.Now they are earning their livelihood through this activity.
  • Awarded as best KVK for implementing Nutrition Sensitive Agricultural Resources and Innovations (NARI) project and Poshan Maah in the year 2020-21 in which acted as Nodal officer,
  • A total of 117 nos. of trainings,15 nos. of OFTs and 38 ns. of FLDs were organized. Out of 38 FLDs, 17 were conducted under NARI Project till 2022-23.
  • Appreciation award for documentation of intervention during COVID period during 2020-.21.
