Achivements
  • I had joined my career in Assam Agricultural University on 2nd August 2019 and got involved in both edifying and research and withal in extension of agricultural technologies. Till date in my short vocation span, I had conducted and organized nine numbers of extension training in farmers field for various agricultural technologies. Moreover, I was additionally fortuitous enough to distribute three numbers of invited guest lecturers on various agriculture cognate topic in Gossaigaon College, Kokrajhar. I am withal culled/nominated as Co-Nodal officer for creation of a platform for cutting edge research in organic agriculture to convert AAU as an organic research hub in South East Asia and BNB and additionally involved in project implementation committee for the project entitled- Augmentation of agriculture through efficient resource utilization with participatory approach, an oil India sponsored project and withal as a Co-PI in NABARD sponsored Ad-hoc project. In my short vocation , I had carried out a few rudimentary researches and the paramount researches achievements were published in form of different research papers which were published in different reputed national and international journal and I withal published a book entitled 'Development of low cost storage structure for fruits and vegetables'. I have additionally been associated with edification of both under- graduate (UG) and Post- graduate (PG) students for Horticulture science and more categorically in Fruit science as an associated edifier. To date I am guiding two M.Sc (agri) student as minor guide. Apart from this I had additionally given responsibility of incharge farm manager of Horticulture Experimental Farm, AAU, Jorhat. I am withal involved in few of the administrative works apart from some of the institutional building activities and additionally actively engaged in the works assigned by Department of Horticulture, AAU, Jorhat.
