- Received jointly ‘Shri Anjan K. Oruganti Memorial Medal’ for best article in Physiology in 1996.
- Honored as Young Scientists symposium on the ‘Frontiers in Reproductive Biology Research’ at the Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla, from 8-10th Dec, 1996 under ICMR, New Delhi.
- Letter of appreciation from Hon’ble Vice-Chencellor, AAU for bringing research grant in the field of Animal physiology from ICAR in 1999
- Member of the National Executive council of SOCIETY OF ANIMAL PHYSIOLOGISTS OF INDIA ( SAPI) and act as a ‘Treasurer’ from 2007-2011 in National Executive council.
- Member of the Embryo Tranfer team successfully produced first ever Mithun (Bos frontalis) calf on March 27, 2012 at National Research Centre on Mithun, Nagaland.
