Development of technology (Variety):
a) Recommendation and Release of a new coconut variety “Kamrupa” for farmers’ of Assam for cultivation in 2000 at Biennial AICRP (Palm) Workshop
b) Recommended two Bao Rice varieties namely - Panchanan and Padumoni for cultivation in the flood prone area of Assam in 2016.
c) Two short duration Mustard varieties namely - PM 26 and PM 27) for farmers of the state for cultivation in 2016. -

• Received University Merit-cum-Grade scholarship at B.Sc (Agri).
• Received Late Dr. KUMUDABHIRAM DAS GOLD MEDAL for securing the highest GPA in the Elective courses
of Plant Breeding and Genetics at B. Sc (Agri).
