  • Salient features: 1 .A training abroad on "A Noval technique for the use of Veterinary Biological Science: Electron Microscopy and Flowcytometry ” in the Department of Veterinary. Basic Sciences, Royal Veterinary. College, University of London. UK. (1991-1993) 2. Dr S M Tamuli Professor and Head, Department of Pathology, gathered Research experiences by “ Serving as Visiting Research Assistant” (Hon) ” in the Department of Veterinary. Basic Sciences, Royal Veterinary. College, University of London. UK.(1991-1993). 3. Dr S.M. Tamuli professor and HOD was awarded the ICVP- DIPLPMAT certification offered by IAVP in 2016.
  • Teaching: 1. Engaged in teaching Under graduate and Post graduate theory and practical courses of veterinary Pathology.
  • Research: 1. Guided six (6) numbers of MVSc students and one (1) number of PhD student and continuing one MVSc and one PhD students as major advisor and eight (8) number of minor students as member of the advisory committee. 2. Research on different topics assigned to the MVSc and PhD students on various field such as Toxicopathology, Swine diseases and Canine diseases etc. 3. Published fifty (50) research articles in international and national journal. 4. Published ten (10) popular science articles in news paper and magazine. 5. Acted as Co- PI of two projects funded by DBT during 2012-2015.
  • Resource person: 1. As external examiner of both MVSc and PhD degree in Mizoram Veterinary College, CAU for five times. 2. Lead paper on CBPP was presented in IAVP congress in 2019 in Mizoram, CAU. 3. As a resource person in online webinar on the topic: African Swine Fever vis-a-vis Classical Swine Fever: a Clinico-pathological diagnosis. 16.2.2021. organized by Department of Veterinary Pathology, CVSc&AH, Reewa, NDVSU,MP-01.
  • Head of the Department of Pathology: 1. Rendering the services in official works and management of the department of Pathology. 2. Diagnosis of diseases of animals and poultry by conducting postmortem. 3. Interpretation of histopathological slides prepared from different tissue sections of carcasses submitted to the department for postmortem examination. 4. Offering deliberate consultation service to the farmers and stakeholders on treatment and preventive measures of the diseases in livestock and poultry.
