Departing of Veterinary clinical complex is responsible for teaching clinical aspect under the courses VCP to the 3rd and 4th veterinary professional courses student s. This teaching includes Out Door patients (OPD) , Indoor patients and also ambulatory classes in the dispensaries adjoining to Guwahati i.e. Hajo, Kamalpur, Halogaon etc. Aproximately 150-200 clinical cased are coming daily to the clinical complex suffering from various ailments , where our students are getting pracical exposure of treatment under the guidance of experiences faculties..Different species of animal Dog,cat, Cattle, Horses , sheep and goat are registered daily for treatment of which major number is of Dog. During treatment clinicians are taking help of advanced diagnostic like X-ray, Ultrasound , endoscopy, ECG and haemato-biochemical laboratory diagnosis. Following confirmation of diagnosis , improved treatment with Surgery, medicine and gynaecological approach cure the deseased animals and students learned everything from the teachers directly. Beyond this Indoor facility provided with keeping of animals for the required duration until cured. Students are experiencing all forms of treatment and management undergoing during the indoor period, which is maintained under the supervision of experienced teachers. Well equipped surgical operation theatre running in the office hours performing surgical operations. Our resident doctors are extending valuable treatment for any emmergency even in the night hours
