Achievements
  • Qualified ARS - NET in Aquaculture conducted by Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB), New Delhi, India.
  • Associated as CoPI under TSP project (2018-19) (Fishery component) for establishing two numbers of AAU Model carp hatchery at farmers' field in collaboration with KVK, Kokrajhar and KVK, Udalguri respectively.
  • Editor of the book 'Fish and Fisheries: Beginners Handbook' for one year Fisheries Demonstrators training programme under Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) in 2019-20.
  • Received the award for 'Best Participant' during the one month skill development training programme on 'Aquaclinics and Aquapreneurship Development Programme' organized by Fisheries Research Station, PVNR Telangana Veterinary University in association with MANAGE, Hyderabad held w.e.f. 14.05.2019 to 12.06.2019.
  • Team member for successful breeding and seed production of Chital, Chitala chitala under the project 'Scientific Conservation Programme of Indigenous Fishes (SCoPIF): Gene Bank (Sub - Project II) in 2021.
  • Team member for successful captive breeding and seed production of Cirrhinus reba (Lachim bhangon) under the project 'Scientific Conservation Programme of Indigenous Fishes (SCoPIF): Gene Bank (Sub - Project II) in 2021.
  • Team Leader for annual production of quality fish seeds through induced breeding and hatchery management at the Fish Farm of the College since 2021.
  • Introduced HDK - 75 pig variety developed by CVSc, AAU, Khanapara in the Fish Farm of the College under the component of Integrated Pig Fish Farming Systems for production and demonstration purpose in 2021.
  • As i/c Fish Farm, for the first time in 2021 registered the AAU Model Carp Hatchery of the College under NFFBB - NFDB, Government of India for dissemination of genetically improved fish species across the freshwater resources of India.
  • Received 'Certificate of Acknowledgement' from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT G) for delivering a talk on Aquaponics Systems during Feb - March, 2022
  • Member of Committee for initiating and developing ODL (Online Distance Learning) courses for the first time under Assam Agricultural University.
  • Till 2023, successfully completed three (3) nos. of projects as Co-PI externally funded under ICAR - DCFR, Uttarakhand, RKVY, Govt. of Assam and NABARD.
  • Presently in 2024 engaged as Co-PI for 2 (two) numbers of externally funded project under SCoPIF (SP-I), Department of Fisheries, Government of Assam and ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai.
  • Currently since 2023 engaged as Principal Investigator (PI) for externally funded project entitled 'Establishment of a Model Seed Bank for community development through quality fish seed production in Nagaon district of Assam' funded by ARIAS Society, Khanapara, Guwahati.
  • Currently since 2023 engaged as Principal Investigator (PI) for externally funded project entitled 'Refinement and commercialization of induced breeding, larval rearing and grow out technology of Sperata seenghala' funded by AAU R&D, Jorhat, Assam.
  • Presently engaged as 'Associated Scientist' under the project 'Upscaling of livelihood: implication through smart agriculture and agro eco-tourism' sponsored by SITA, Government of Assam and implemented by Assam Agricultural University from 2023-24 onwards.
  • In 2024, established a 'Model Fish Seed Bank' at College of Fisheries, Assam Agricultural University with financial assistance from ARIAS Society under APART.
