Department of Extension Education, Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science is headed by I/C HOD cum Asstt. Professor, Dr. L. Sanathoi Khuman, Ph.D. Currently, 2 faculty members are present in the department namely, I/C HoD and Dr. Biju Borah, Ph.D., Asstt. Professor. The department currently offers course Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education in the 3rd BVSc & AH programme of credit hour 4 (3+1). Additionally, the department is involved in extension activities of the college with conducting trainings for the farmers, seminars, vaccination and animal treatment camps, flood relief programmes etc.
