Veterinary Anatomy & Histology
The Department of Anatomy & Histology is one of the academic departments of Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science, Assam Agricultural University, Joyhing, North Lakhimpur Campus. Presently, this Department is imparting UG education in the field of Veterinary Anatomy & Histology for the students pursuing BVSc & AH as per Veterinary Council of India syllabus. The department is having well equipped laboratories required for UG teaching as well as for conducting faculty research.

    • AAU Corpus Fund sponsored project on "Entrepreneurship Development and Revenue Generation through Adoption of Duck cum Composite Fish Culture at Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science", project cost Rs.5.0 Lakh
    • RKVY sponsored project on "Establishment of piggery and poultry units for production of certified piglets for capacity enhancement of farmers and entrepreneurship development", project cost Rs.1.19 Crore
    • Mising Autonomous Council sponsored project on "Enhancing of capacity building facilities for livestock farmers through establishment of farmers' hostel in LCVSC, AAU, Joyhing, North Lakhimpur in Collaboration with Mising Autonomous Council", implemented in 2021.
