Veterinary Microbiology
The Department of Microbiology, Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science, AAU, Joyhing, North Lakhimpur is headed by I/C HOD cum Asstt. Professor Dr Anjan Jyoti Nath. At present the department has two teaching faculties, namely I/C HOD Dr A,J.Nath and Dr Shiney George, Asstt. Professor; and two non-teaching staff, namely Mr Jiten Saikia, and Mr Jugadhar Hazarika. The department offers the course Veterinary Microbiology, 5(3+2) in the 2nd year of BVSc&AH programme, and the practical courses VCP I and VCP Ii in the 3rd and 4th year of BvSc&AH programme as per MSVE 2016 syllabus. The department is also engaged in routine diagnostic activities.
