An Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) Camp was being organised at Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat from 17 January, 2026 to 28 January, 2026 by NCC Group Headquarters Jorhat, under the aegis of National Cadet Corps, North Eastern Region (NER) Directorate. The camp brought together around 600 NCC cadets from Uttar Pradesh Directorate, West Bengal & Sikkim Directorate, and North Eastern Region Directorate, providing a vibrant platform for national integration, cultural exchange, and youth interaction. The primary objective of the EBSB Camp is to promote unity in diversity, mutual understanding, and appreciation of the rich cultural heritage of different states. Cadets will participate in a wide range of activities including cultural programmes, joint training sessions, yoga, physical training, personality development classes, social awareness activities, and interaction with local institutions and communities.
