The AAU Jorhat Campus has 15 numbered hostels (Hostel Nos. 1–15), besides a Transit Hostel, to accommodate eligible students in accordance with the prevailing University rules and regulations.
Hostel accommodation is allotted based on the prescribed eligibility criteria, availability of rooms, and administrative guidelines issued by the University.

The hostel administration at AAU Jorhat functions under the supervision of the Chief Warden, assisted by the Wardens of the respective hostels.
Each hostel is supervised by a designated faculty member or scientist serving as Hostel Warden. The Wardens oversee the day-to-day functioning of the hostels and coordinate with the appropriate University authorities on matters concerning accommodation, discipline, maintenance, and student welfare.
