In pursuance of the letter of the Hon'ble Governor's Additional Secretary addressed to the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, AAU, Jorhat received vide No. GSA.191/2025/01/ Dtd. 12/11/2025, the Dean, Faculty of Agriculture is pleased to identify Dr. Rituraj Baruah, Assistant Professor, Deptt. of Extension Education, FA & Warden of Hostel No. 08, AAU, Jorhat to act as the Nasha Mukti Coordinator (NMC) of AAU Jorhat campus as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in addition to his normal duties until further order.
Key Responsibilities of the Institution-Level Nasha Mukti Coordinator (NMC)
Oversee and monitor all anti-drug awareness and prevention activities across the campus and liaise with departmental and hostel coordinators.
Compile monthly vigilance/awareness reports from departments and hostels and submit consolidated quarterly Action Taken Reports (ATR).
Coordinate with local administration, health professionals, NIMHANS/NISD capacity-building initiatives, and the Institute Counselling Cell.
