Agronomy
The department of Agronomy, BNCA came into existence since the commencement of the college i.e. in the year 1988 with the mandate of undergraduate teaching on production technology of different field crops. The department offers both elective as well as the compulsory core courses in UG degree programme. In the academic year 2018-19, the Post Graduate Programme was introduced in the Department by enrollment of four students. The present faculty strength in the department is 3 (three) out of which 2 (two) are in the position of Professor and 1 (one) is in the rank of Asst. Professor (stage-II). Apart from the regular teaching faculties, 2 Junior scientists working under AICRPDA, BNCA are also engaged in teaching of UG and PG courses. At present there are separate well equipped laboratories for UG and PG courses alongwith a well managed crop cafeteria for conducting field practical by both UG and PG students.
