Agricultural Engineering
Agricultural Engineering is the part and parcel In modern and advanced Agriculture. Agricultural Engineering is the field of study and application of Engineering Science and design principles for better Agricultural practices. The department of Agricultural Engineering, Biswanath College of Agriculture offers four different courses in Under Graduate Programme of B.sc.(Hons.) Agriculture, viz. Farm Machinery and Power in second year first semester, Renewable Energy and Green Technology in second year second semester, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering in third year first semester, Protected Cultivation and Secondary Agriculture third year second semester. Keeping in view the importance of Engineering and technology in Agriculture all the modern machineries and tools are being summarized in the course curriculum. Moreover the department of Agricultural Engineering,Biswanath College of Agriculture actively participate along with students in different field activities and arrange different programmes like "KISAN MELA", Technology Demonstration Mela etc. for the farmers of nearby villages of the College.
