Crop Physiology
The Department of Crop Physiology, Biswanath College of Agriculture has been involved in teaching of Undergraduate Core, Elective and Multidisciplinary Courses along with Post Graduate Minor, Supporting and Compulsory Credit (CC) courses. The faculties of the Department are also associated with teaching of some UG and PG courses offered by the other departments including Horticulture, Soil Science, Biochemistry and Agricultural Chemistry, Plant Breeding and Genetics, etc.
The Department has been preparing teaching aids and practical manuals regularly related to the concerned courses.
The Faculties of the Departments have been associated as PI and Co-PI in few Externally/ Internally funded ongoing/ completed Research Projects by DST, AYUSH, DBT, etc.
The Faculties are involved as Major Advisers and members of Advisory Committee of M.Sc.(Agri.) and Ph. D Students of parent department and other departments offering minor and supporting courses in Crop Physiology.
The Department is associated with trainings of Farmers and Stakeholders related to Skill Development, Seed Quality Improvement and in other participatory extension activities along with various Institution building activities related to all round development of Assam Agricultural University.

The Faculties are involved as Major Advisers of M. Sc. (Agri.) and Ph. D students in the Department of Crop Physiology, AAU and members of Advisory Committee of M.Sc. (Agri.) Students of the Departments of Horticulture, Agronomy, Entomology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, BNCA offering Minor and Supporting courses.
The Department is associated with trainings of Farmers and Stakeholders related to Skill Development, Seed Quality Improvement and in various participatory extension activities along with other institutional building activities.
