Achievements
  • During the tenure of my Krishi Vigyan Kendra, I was intimately involved in organizing numerous trainings for farm women, rural youth and extension fonctionnaires (short term- 65, vocational training- 21). Organized exhibition under the agies of KVK (17) conducting OFTs (18 no.s) and FLDs (21 no.s) related to the subject.
  • Using own innovative technology as OFT on Low cost Solar dryer. I have established “Herbal garden” at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Jorhat which housed more than 50 precious medicinal plant species collected from various parts of North East India.
  • Member of the working team of KVK, Jorhat for receiving the Award on “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rashtriya Krishi Vigyan Protshahan Puraskar” 2016, Zone- VI, ICAR.
  • Teaching and associated with 2 projects as Co- PI, Farmers FIRST and Multifaceted exploration of edible Molluses of North East India. prepared 2 e- learning videos and videos for Golden Jubilee celebration.
