The Department of Agrmeteorology came into existence since the commencement of Sarat Chandra Sinha College of Agriculture (SCSCA) on 22nd August, 2014 as a constituent department of the college. Currently the department is offering one compulsory course and one elective course of undergraduate degree programme. The present faculty strength in the department is 1(0ne) in the position of Assistant Professor(S-II). The department is having some of the meteorological instruments of observatory for conducting practical classes of the students. The mandate of the department is to acquaint the students with the basic knowledge of agrometeorology for practical application in Agriculture and involvement in various research and extention activities.
