Development of technology (Variety):
a) Recommendation and Release of a new coconut variety “Kamrupa” for farmers’ of Assam for cultivation in 2000 at Biennial AICRP (Palm) Workshop and Notified by CVRC in 2021.
b) Recommended two Bao Rice varieties namely - Panchanan and Padumoni for cultivation in the flood prone area of Assam in 2016.
c) Two short duration Mustard varieties namely - PM 26 and PM 27) for farmers of the state for cultivation in 2016.
d) Recommendation and Release of a new Buckwheat variety “GHAGAR” and Notified by SVRC in 2025 for farmers’ of Assam for cultivation.
