  • Involved in the renovation of the Plant Protection Laboratory, AAU-ZRS, North Lakhimpur after joining AAU service in 2011.
  • Worked as the Principal Investigator of an AAU-DBT centre-funded project on “Actinomycetes of deep water rice ecosystem: Potential application in agriculture and industry” during 2012-14.
  • Has been involved as Co-Principal Investigator of DBT funded project on “Genome-wide association mapping for identification of novel genes/QTLs of Bao rice population of Assam for deep water tolerance and nutritional quality trait (Ongoing)".
  • Actively involved as Co-Principal Investigator of STC Project on “Promotion of Agriculture Centric Sustainable Livelihood Security for Tribal Farmers of Assam”, as Coordinators of AAU-DRMR Collaborative Programme on “Assessment and transfer of improved production technology of rapeseed-mustard in Assam through Frontline Demonstrations” and RKVY project on “Large scale demonstration of short duration mustard variety NRCHB101 at Lakhimpur district”, as Associate Scientist of RKVY projects on “Provisioning of Livelihood Security in Sand-Silt Deposited Areas of Assam” and “Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project (APART)”.
  • Involved in more than 50 (fifty) training programmes as a resource person, several advisory and diagnostic services, awareness programmes, farmer-scientist interaction programmes, farmers fairs, exhibitions, participatory extension activities and delivered radio talks, guest lectures.
