Achievements
1. Developed 4 greengram , 5 blackgram and three fieldpea varieties till date
2. Recommended 9 different pulse varieties from national pool for cultivation in Assam
3. Developed the Chickpea package for Assam
4. Several breeding materials of different pulse crops are in the pipeline for recommendation
5. Successfully conducted the Annual group meet on rabi pulses under AICRP on MULLaRP on Sept.14-15, 2018 as Organizing Secretary.
6. Actively involved in seed production of pulses under Seed-hub programme.
7. Developed the Rajmash package of practices
8. Blackgram variety AAU SBC 40 (Shyamal) notified by 88th meeting of CVRC meeting held on 17-06-2022 at New Delhi
9. Greengram variety AAU SGC 16 (Rupohi) notified by 88th meeting of CVRC meeting held on 17-06-2022 at New Delhi
10 .Blackgram variety AAU SBC 47 (AAU -SHN Urd 02)-Pabhoi notified by 90th meeting of CVRC meeting held on 02-05-2023 at New Delhi
11. Greengram variety AAU SGC 20 ( AAU -SHN Mung 02)-Buroi notified by 90th meeting of CVRC meeting held on 02-05-2023 at New Delhi
12. Field pea variety AAU SPC 101 (AAU -SHN Motor 01)-Xeuti notified by 90th meeting of CVRC meeting held on 02-05-2023 at New Delhi
Till now 4 greengram,5 blackgram and 3 fieldpea and two rajmah varieties have been developed. From the AICRP system 9 varieties of different pulses have been recommended for cultivation in Assam . Chickpea and Rajmah package have been developed. Conducted the AGM of MULLaRP(Rabi) successfullly during 2018. Have been involved in large scale seed production programmes of different pulses under Seed-Hub project.
