Dr. R. N. Borkakati, Scientist (Stage-3) received the “SRMR Gold medal award” for significant contribution on Rapeseed-Mustard research & Extension in Assam from Padma Shri Prof. (Dr.) Arvind Kumar. The award was conferred by the “Society for Rapeseed-Mustard Research”, Bharatpur, India during the 5th National Brassica Conference held from 7th – 9th February,2024 at RARI, Durgapura, Jaipur in collaboration with ICAR-DRMR, Bhartapur, Rajasthan.
Dr. Rudra Narayan Borkakati was honored with the "INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH STAR AWARD" in Agricultural Entomology for his research on "Indigenous Technical Knowledge of Assam for Pest Management – Exploit Potential in Organic Agriculture," presented by the World Research Council, Oxford Research News, and Z24 News. The award ceremony took place on 23rd June 2024 at Grandeur Hall, Breeze Residency, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India.
