Achievements
  • Teaching: Eight years of teaching Extension Education at undergraduate and post graduate level at College of agriculture under Assam Agricultural University from 1996 to 2004. Guided post graduate students as major advisor.

    Extension: Seven years of extension experience at KVKs under Assam Agricultural University from 2004 to 2011. Involved in conducting training programmes, organising OFTs, FLDs, etc. Involved in organizing FPOs under CBBO, AAU as Coordinator. Resource person for training officers of line departments of north eastern states under EEI capacity building programmes.

    Research: Ten years of research experience in the domain of agricultural extension from 2011 till date. Involved in conducting externally funded research activities.

    Publications: Published research papers, one book chapter and two books. Involved in writing academic chapter in self learning material of Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University.
