  • Diagnosis: (1) - Diagnosis and control of WBPH & BPH of Boro rice in Phakua area, Karimganj district in 1998; (2) - Diagnosis and control of swarming caterpillar of Sali rice in Karimganj district in 1998; (3) - Diagnosis and control of WBPH & BPH of Boro rice in Morigaon district in 2014; (4) - Diagnosis of World cup Cicada for the first time in Assam at LGB International Airport in 2018; (5) - Diagnosis of Rugose Spiraling Whitefly for the first time in Assam in coconut plant in 2018.

  • Natural enemies: - (1) - Four no. of parasitoids (2 egg & 2 larval parasitoids ) of Gomari pest (Calopepla leayana) have been identified (2017-18); (2) - parasitoid (Encarsia sp.) of rugose spiraling whitefly have been identified (2019); (3) - Several emerging pests (House cricket, tent caterpillar, jackfruit borer etc.) have reported from HRS for the first time (2019-21);
