Achievements
Ms. Ipsita Ojah has pursued her B.Sc. (Agri) in 2014 and M.Sc. (Agri) in 2016 from Assam Agricultural University, Assam. During her post graduation her specialisation was in Soil Microbiology under Soil Science and her research was on ‘Isolation and Characterisation of Arbuscular Mycorrhizae from wet land Rice Rhizosphere of Assam’
She has started her career as a Subject Matter Specialist, Soil Science in 2018 in Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Udalguri and is now presently posted in KVK, Darrang, Assam Agricultural University.
She has published more than 9 research / review papers, 7 nos. of training manuals, 12 nos. Of extension bulletins, 10 nos. of popular articles and more than 6 book chapters.
Her outstanding contribution towards the farmers in the field of organic and natural farming has led her to be a recipient of the award of ‘Best KVK Scientist’ in the field of Soil Science in the year 2023 in an International Conference organised by GNFSU, Anand, HARWS and IIMTU, Meerut.
In her five years of carrier she has conducted nineteen (19) nos. of on farm testings, forty-nine (49) nos. of front line demonstrations and ninety-one (91) nos of capacity building trainings.
